Three people, including a father and his son, were killed on the spot after a speeding Audi car rammed into their motorcycle while they were distributing wedding invitation cards in Madhya Pradesh’s Rewa, police said on Friday.
The accident occurred on the highway near Koshta village in Rewa district. The victims were riding on a single motorcycle when the luxury car, allegedly being driven at a very high speed, hit them with great force, leaving no chance of survival.
According to police, the deceased have been identified as Bhagwat Vishwakarma, a local resident, his younger son Rahul, and another family member who was accompanying them.
Bhagwat’s eldest son was scheduled to get married on February 24, and the family had stepped out to distribute wedding invitation cards among relatives.
