Actor Chitrashi Rawat, who had played the role of Komal Chautala in 'Chak De! India', was back in the news after a picture of her wearing ripped jeans was shared on social media. This came after Uttarakhand Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat's remarks on women wearing ripped jeans triggered a protest. The claim on the post shared on social media was that Chitrashi Rawat, seen wearing ripped jeans, was the daughter of Tirath Singh Rawat. Well, she is! Her father's name is Tirath Singh Rawat but he is not the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand. He is simply the chief minister's namesake. Rejecting the claims made on the viral picture, Chitrashi Rawat told India Today TV that she's not related to Uttarakhand Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat. She said it was only a coincidence that her father's name was Tirat Singh Rawat.
