The Samyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM) on Sunday announced that a group of farmers will protest outside Parliament every day during the monsoon session. During a press conference, the representatives of the farmer union said that a warning letter will be given to all the Opposition Members of Parliament(MPs) to protest against the three farm laws inside the house.
A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
