FA Cup: Arsenal crash out to lower league opposition, Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool survive scares

FA Cup: Arsenal failed to transfer their improved league form to as they were stunned by second-tier club Nottingham Forest while Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur came from behind to beat lower league opposition.

Arsenal became the highest ranking casuality thus far in the FA Cup this season when they lost 0-1 to second-tier club Nottingham Forest on Sunday. It's only the second time in 26 seasons that Arsenal have fallen in the third round, which is the point at which the Premier League clubs enter the competition.

Interestingly, Forest, who won back-to-back European titles at their peak in the late 1970s and early 1980s, were also the first team to beat Arsenal in the third round in 2018.
