The Mumbai Police Crime Branch has filed an application in a sessions court for the issuance of a non-bailable warrant against former Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh.
The Mumbai Police Crime Branch has filed an application in a sessions court for the issuance of a non-bailable warrant against former Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh. The court will hear the application on October 29.
Param Bir Singh is currently absconding. The crime branch is probing the allegations of extortion against Param Bir Singh and dismissed Mumbai police officer Sachin Waze.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
