Indian and Chinese Foreign Ministers meet in South Africa to discuss border situation and bilateral issues.
External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar met his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi on the sidelines of the G20 Foreign Ministers meet in South Africa on Friday (February 21, 2025).
South Africa is currently the chair of the influential grouping and Mr. Jaishankar is in Johannesburg on a two-day visit.
The meeting lasted half an hour, and the two Ministers discussed border situation, resumption of Mansarovar Yatra, other bilateral issues, along with SCO and G20 meetings, according to sources.
The meeting comes amid ongoing diplomatic efforts between India and China to address bilateral issues and regional challenges.
