Five workers were injured after a fire broke out at a chemical plant following an explosion in the Boisar industrial area in Maharashtra's Palghar district.
Five workers at a chemical plant in Maharashtra's Palghar district were injured in a fire that was caused by an explosion, fire officials said on Sunday. The explosion happened at around 11:30 pm on Saturday at the plant of a chemical company located in the Boisar industrial area, a fire official said.
A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.

He was allegedly threatened with his life over the delay in repayment. Fearing for his life, Sachin immediately alerted the police.
