A 30-year-old Pakistani lady was denied the first dose of the Sputnik vaccine by a private hospital in Kolkata on grounds that she carried no Indian documents.
A Pakistani lady was allegedly denied the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine at the Medica Superspeciality Hospital in Kolkata on Friday on grounds that she carried no Indian documents. Even though 30-year-old Sahar Qaiser had registered on Co-WIN with her using her passport details, the private hospital allegedly refused to inoculate her. Supposedly, she also provided her local address proof and marriage certificate.
A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
