Raising doubts about the future of Left-Congress alliance in Bengal, state Congress president Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury on Saturday said his party is yet to decide if it wants to continue with the partnership in the civic polls too. “At present, we cannot say whether we are in the alliance or not. We fought the assembly polls together with the Left but whether we shall do the same in the coming civic elections will have to be decided by our party,” the Congress MP said after a review meeting with the state leadership. Blaming the last minute entry of Indian Secular Front (ISF) into the alliance, Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury said, “The clean image of our alliance was faced with many questions with the sudden entry of the ISF. Naturally, if we have to take the alliance forward we must address these issues.”
