
Encounter underway in J&K's Shopian, two terrorists trapped

Security forces have nabbed two terrorists during an ongoing encounter in Jammu and Kashmir’s Shopian area.
The security forces have launched cordon and search operations in the Baskuchan Imamsahib area of Jammu and Kashmir’s Shopian. The security personnel trapped two terrorists during the ongoing encounter so far.
The encounters broke out after police and security forces received a specific input about the presence of terrorists in those areas.

Divulging information about the encounter, the Kashmir Zone Police took to Twitter and wrote, “Encounter has started at Baskuchan area of Shopian. Police and security forces are on the job. Further details shall follow.”
