Emergency crews have pulled a body out of the Thames River in London, Ont.

Police recovered a body from the Thames River in downtown London, Ont., on Wednesday afternoon.
Emergency crews were called to the river near Ivey Park at around 12:30 p.m. after a citizen phoned 9-1-1 reporting what appeared to be a body in the water.
"Upon police arrival, an individual was located, and it was determined that the individual was deceased," she Const. Sandasha Bough. "We are not sharing whether it's a male or female yet or any other particulars in relation to this individual."
Bough said it is too soon to tell if the death is suspicious or what the cause of death may be.
The Major Crimes Section is investigating the death.
