Election Commission of India seeks Supreme Court approval to modify March 11 order on electoral bonds documents.
The Election Commission of India has filed an application in the Supreme Court to modify the operative portion of the court’s March 11 order, and return of electoral bonds documents handed over to the court in sealed cover/sealed boxes on two occasions.

The ECI said the documents were given to the apex court confidentially in compliance with two orders on April 12, 2019 and November 2, 2023.
A five-judge Bench headed by Chief Justice of India D.Y. Chandrachud is specially convening on March 15 to hear the modification application filed by the poll panel body.
