Elderly man in MP cycles 130 kilometers to perform wife’s last rites

A man covered a distance of 130 km on a bicycle, defying Covid restrictions, in order to perform the last rites of his wife.

An elderly man cycled for thirteen hours, covering a distance of 130 kilometers to perform the last rites of his wife in Agar Malwa district of Madhya Pradesh. Ravi Prasad Mali lives in Talawali village near Indore and was married to Babli, who was specially-abled, and had been living in her maternal home for years. Her health deteriorated last week and she died on May 8.
