'Ek Devendra MVA pe bhari': Shehzad Poonawala's jibe at NCP amid Maha crisis

BJP leader Shehzad Poonawalla shared an old video of NCP leader Supriya Sule, saying former CM from the party Devendra Fadnavis was proving to be the MVA's undoing.

Soon after news of Maharashtra minister Eknath Shinde going incommunicado with 10-12 Shiv Sena MLAs broke, speculation was rife that the BJP knew of the development. Now, BJP leader Shehzad Poonawalla has pumped up the speculation further with a tweet, saying: “Rajya Sabha ke baad , MLC ki baari. (After Rajya Sabha, it’s time for the legislative council.)

The rumours were further fuelled after it came to the fore that the MLAs were, in all likelihood, holed up at a hotel in Surat, Gujarat, a BJP-ruled state.
