ED moves court against Anil Deshmukh for non-compliance of summons

The Enforcement Directorate has moved court against former Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh for non-compliance of summons.
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) probing the money laundering case against former Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh has now moved court against him for non-compliance of summons. If found guilty in these proceedings, Deshmukh could face imprisonment for up to six months.
ED had issued summons to Deshmukh but the former home minister and NCP leader failed to appear before the agency. According to sources in the Enforcement Directorate, Anil Deshmukh was untraceable and the agency has no idea about his whereabouts.
