ED has issued an order to freeze shares worth Rs 700 crore belonging to Karvy Group’s C Parthasarathy and others, officials said.
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has issued an order to freeze shares worth Rs 700 crore belonging to Karvy Group’s C Parthasarathy and others, officials said.
The development took place after the financial probe agency conducted searches at six locations connected to Karvy Stock Broking Limited. According to ED, shares of Karvy Group are held directly and indirectly by the Chairman and Managing Director Comandur Parthasarathy, his sons - Rajat Parthasarathy, Adhiraj Parthasarathy and their entities.
