The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has attached properties worth Rs 72 crore of a private firm in connection with coal block cases.
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has attached movable and immovable properties worth Rs 72 crore of a private firm in connection with coal block cases, officials said. The financial probe agency said Visa Power Limited had got the allotment of Fatehpur Coal Block and Fatehpur East Coal Block done in 2007 by false declaration of the net worth of the principal company Vida Minmetal AG, Switzerland, in its feedback form. The firm also allegedly misrepresented the capacity of its end-use plant as 1000 MW.
A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.

He was allegedly threatened with his life over the delay in repayment. Fearing for his life, Sachin immediately alerted the police.
