Karnataka minister KS Eshwarappa has said that it was his duty to listen to BJP president JP Nadda. He was reacting to Nadda's claim of having rebuked him.
Karnataka minister KS Eshwarappa on Tuesday, February 22, said that he won’t comment on Bharatiya Janata Party national president JP Nadda’s claim of having rebuked him.
“JP Nadda is our national president. We have to listen to what he says. It is our duty. You know what I said. As a worker, I admire him (Nadda). But our Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai has already replied [in the assembly] to what I said and what was wrong or not,” he said.

He was reacting to JP Nadda’s remark, wherein the BJP national president said that he had rebuked Eshwarappa for his comments on the tricolour. Nadda on Tuesday said that he rebuked Eshwarappa for saying that the saffron flag may replace the national flag atop the Red Fort someday in the future.
“I called Eshwarappa and ticked him off for his comments on the saffron flag,” said Nadda in an exclusive interview with India Today News Director Rahul Kanwal.
On February 9, Eshwarappa said that 'Bhagwa dhwaj' (saffron flag), may become the national flag sometime in the future. The senior party leader, however, said the tricolour is the national flag now, and it should be respected by everyone.
