Dubai returnee with gold worth Rs 1 crore hidden under belt gets arrested at Delhi airport

An Indian passenger who arrived at the Delhi airport from Dubai on Saturday was arrested after gold worth more than one crore rupees was found to be hidden under his leather belt. 

An Indian passenger who arrived at the Delhi airport from Dubai on Saturday was arrested after gold worth more than one crore rupees was found to be hidden under his leather belt.

On Saturday morning, Delhi Customs detained the passenger from Dubai on the basis of profiling. A search was conducted and 2,330 grams of raw gold in the form of chains was recovered from under the passenger's belt. The value of the seized gold, which was concealed by the passenger around his waist, is more than one crore rupees.
