Dr. B.R. Ambedkar statues will be installed in all Gurukul schools to inspire students, says Social Welfare Minister

Social Welfare Minister announces installation of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar statues in Andhra Pradesh Gurukul schools, along with other welfare initiatives.
Social Welfare Minister Dola Sree Bala Veeranjaneya Swamy has announced that Dr. B.R. Ambedkar statues would be installed in all the Gurukul schools in Andhra Pradesh.
Mr. Veeranjaneya Swamy on Sunday unveiled a bronze statue of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar at Palivela village of Kothapeta Mandal in Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Konaseema district. He was accompanied by Kothapeta MLA Bandaru Satyananda Rao, Amalapuram MLA A. Ananda Rao and P. Gannavaram MLA Giddi Satyanarayana.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Veeranjaneya Swamy said that cosmotic kits and quality rice would be supplied to the welfare hostels from the next academic year. “Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s statue will inspire the students at the Gurukul schools to shape their careers”, he said.
“All the welfare hostels and Gurukul school hostels will be renovated with an estimated budget of ₹143 crore from the next academic year in the State”, said Mr. Veeranjaneyulu, who laid the foundation stone for various developmental works including roads in the Kothapeta mandal on Sunday.
