A task force of RWA has been formed to train residents for the evacuation process on the day of demolition of the Supertech twin towers in Noida on Sunday.

Ahead of the planned demolition of the Supertech twin towers in Noida on August 28, a task force of Resident Welfare Association has been formed to train the residents in the evacuation process.

Speaking to India Today, Gaurav Mehrotra, the president of RWA task force, said that the residents are being trained about the evacuation process on the day of demolition. Here’s how the evacuation plan will be carried out:

Speaking to India Today, Gaurav said that Jio fiber cloth has been installed on the building, which have been selected by the same company responsible for the twin towers’ demolition. The fiber cloth wil demolishing the building, this will protect their buildings.

The Pollution Control Board has also put in place mechanisms to minimise the impact of noise and dust pollution following the demolition of twin towers.

The demolition will start on at 2:30 pm on August 28. The collapse of the 103-meter-tall buildings will cause huge amount of dust pollution, noise pollutions and vibrations.

According to the Pollution Control Board in dust pollution, 10 anti-smog guns have been installed to deal with particulate matters that will be released during demolition. Six Ambient air quality monitoring stations have also been set up for dust pollution monitoring, along with the AQI system already installed in Sector 125 and 116 of Noida.
