Doctor treating Covid patients in ICU for a month dies by suicide in Delhi

Dr Vivek Rai had been on Covid duty for nearly a month and had been attending to ICU patients.

A 36-year-old doctor who had been attending to Covid-19 patients for nearly a month in the ICU of a private hospital in Delhi, has died by suicide. Dr Vivek Rai was a resident doctor at the hospital. He hailed from Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh. Speaking on the condition of anonymity, one of Dr Rai's colleagues said he was on Covid duty for the past one month and was dealing with ICU patients.
