Director Balachandra Kumar is set to give a confidential statement before a magistrate in Kerala against actor Dileep who is the eighth accused in the actor assault case.
Balachandra Kumar is set to give a confidential statement before a magistrate in Kerala against actor Dileep who is the eighth accused in the actor abduction and assault case.
The request for a confidential statement was made by the police on January 6. Kumar is a former friend of Dileep who recently claimed that the actor was in possession of the visuals of the assault and had tried to influence the witnesses in the case. He had also alleged that the main accused in the case, Pulsar Suni was seen at Dileep's residence.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
