Dilip Walse Patil met NCP chief Sharad Pawar before taking charge as the new Maharashtra home minister. During the meeting, Patil sought Pawar's blessings and discussed way forward.

Senior NCP leader Dilip Walse Patil met party chief Sharad Pawar before taking charge as the new Maharashtra home minister on Tuesday. Dilip Walse Patil, an old Sharad Pawar loyalist, said that the charge of home ministry was a big responsibility and he is looking forward o his new role. The meeting between the two leaders lasted for around 30 minutes.
