Devotee couple brings oxygen cylinder for temple darshan, highlighting profound devotion amid health challenges at Mayakka Devi Temple.
It has been proven many a time that devotion can make people indulge in acts that look difficult and defy logic.
A similar incident was witnessed at the Mayakka Devi Temple in Chinchali of Raibag taluk, Belagavi district, on Wednesday where a couple from Pandharpur was seen carrying an oxygen cylinder along with them while having a darshan of the goddess.
It later turned out that the wife who is sick requires oxygen support but did not want to miss an opportunity to have darshan of the goddess.
So, her husband carried the oxygen cylinder with him to enable his wife’s visit to the temple and have darshan of the goddess.
The couple travelled 176 km with the oxygen cylinder as the wife was suffering from breathing difficulties. The couple have been visiting the temple every year for the last 15 years but this year they had a difficult time as the wife has been diagnosed with a lung-related problem.
The video clip of the man carrying the oxygen cylinder for his wife during the visit to the temple and their statement that the temple visit will bring solace to them went viral on the social media evoking mixed reaction.
