Delhi to Meerut in 45 minutes, Expressway now open to public

The much-awaited Delhi-Meerut Expressway is now open. In a tweet, Union minister Nitin Gadkari wrote, "We have fulfilled our promise of reducing travel time between Delhi - Meerut from 2.5 hours to 45 minutes."
Travelling from Delhi to Meerut in less than an hour is now a reality. The 82-km Delhi-Meerut Expressway (DME) is now open to the public. Delhi Meerut Expressway has now been completed & opened to traffic. Taking to Twitter on Thursday, Union Minister for Road Transport & Highways Nitin Gadkari said, “Delhi Meerut Expressway has now been completed & opened to traffic.
