Delhi sees sharp decline in daily Covid cases with 50% fall in 4 days amid low testing

In Delhi, the daily tally of Covid cases has fallen by nearly 50 per cent in four days amid low testing. The national capital reported 12,527 Covid cases on Monday with 24 deaths.
After seeing a massive spike in coronavirus cases, the national capital heaved a sigh of relief as infections saw a downward spiral of infections for the fourth day in a row on Monday. Delhi reported 12,527 cases, a 31.4 per cent drop from Sunday's count, in the last 24 hours.
With this, the the positivity rate in the national capital stood at 27.99 per cent, which is marginally higher than the 27.87 per cent recorded on Sunday. On Saturday, the positivity rate was 30.64 per cent. The data from the health department bulletin revealed that 24 people succumbed to the virus.
