Delhi riots: Police to file separate chargesheets after court questions over wrongly-clubbed FIRs

Separate chargesheets will be filed by police in the Delhi 2020 riots case after a court questioned it over wrongly-clubbed FIRs in the cases involved.

Police will be filing separate chargesheets in the incidents related to the 2020 Delhi communal riots after a court objected to wrongly-clubbed FIRs based on multiple complaints in the matter. Earlier, Additional Sessions Judge Vinod Yadav had asked the police why five incidents of alleged rioting, theft, and arson which took place in three different blocks - C, D, and E of Delhi's Bhajanpura area on different dates were clubbed in a single FIR and chargesheet.
