Delhi Police's Crime Branch solved the daylight house dacoity case of Mehrauli by arresting three persons. Allegedly, Rs 1.21 crore were robbed from a person at gunpoint on August 2 in Delhi's Mehrauli.
Delhi Police's Crime Branch worked out the daylight house dacoity case of Mehrauli by arresting three persons. A complaint was registered by a person named Shakey Sharma that Rs 32 lakh were robbed from his flat in Parivartan Apartment at gunpoint on August 2. However, during the investigation, it was revealed that the actual amount robbed was Rs 1.21 crore. A Crime Branch team, under the leadership of Inspector Dinesh Kumar and Inspector Arun Sindhu and under the overall supervision of Arvind Kumar, ACP, was constituted to solve the case.
A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
