
Delhi Police arrests 2 notorious gangsters; pistols recovered

The accused revealed that both of them are highly inspired by the so-called lavish lifestyle of gangsters, adding that they carry pistols for their safety and show off. They have even posted many gangster-type videos on social media with pistols to gain popularity.
On February 6, during patrolling in the area, Crack Team of MS Park received secret information about the presence of two notorious gangsters in the area which was then shared with the senior officers and a team was constituted under close supervision of SHO MS Park and a trap was laid. Acting on a tip-off, police managed to nab two active members of 'Tillu Tajpuriya Gang', namely Dharamveer aka Monu and Pawan Kumar.
Police also recovered one 7.65 pistol loaded with two live cartridges and one .32 pistol loaded with two live cartridges from the accused's possession.
During intensive interrogation, both the accused disclosed that they were the active members of 'Tilu Tajpuriya-Cheeku Dhankad gang' who are currently in Tihad Jail and came in contact with them through social media. They stated that both of them are highly inspired by the so-called lavish lifestyle of gangsters, adding that they carry pistols for their safety and show off. They have even posted many gangster-type videos on social media with pistols to gain popularity.
They further disclosed that they remained in contact with Tillu Tajpuriya and Chiku Dhankhad through internet video calls.
The accused had come to the MS Park area as directed by gangster Chiku Dhankad to collect money from an unknown person but were caught by the police on GT Road.
They revealed that Cheeku Dhankhad used a mobile phone in jail to extort money from different people and then sent them to the target for collecting ransom money.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He was allegedly threatened with his life over the delay in repayment. Fearing for his life, Sachin immediately alerted the police.
