Soon after Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia announced that the bus and Delhi metro services will run at 100 per cent seating capacity, Delhi Metro on Wednesday issued a set of new guidelines for travellers, marking a change in the seating capacity inside the Delhi Metro.

DMRC took to its official Twitter handle and wrote, "Public Service Announcement, in the wake of the latest guidelines issued by DDMA, Delhi Metro will be running with 100 per cent seating capacity and no standing passengers will be allowed till further notice." (sic)

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.
