A 27-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly opening fire at his wife in northwest Delhi's Mangolpuri to force her into withdrawing a police complaint she lodged against him.
A 27-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday for allegedly opening fire at his wife in northwest Delhi's Mangolpuri to force her into withdrawing a complaint she lodged against him earlier in the day, police said. The accused, Mohit, is a resident of U-Block in Mangolpuri, they said.
A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
