
Delhi Congress chief meets CVC, demands probe on procurement of low-floor buses by AAP govt

Delhi Congress chief Chaudhary Anil Kumar has demanded a probe into the procurement of 1,000 low-floor buses by the Aam Aadmi Party government. Anil Kumar alleges there has been a massive scam in the procurement and maintenance of these buses.
Delhi Congress chief Chaudhary Anil Kumar on Tuesday met Chief Vigilance Commissioner (CVC) Suresh N Patel seeking a probe into the procurement of 1,000 low-floor buses by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government. Anil Kumar alleged there has been a massive scam in the procurement and maintenance of these buses and requested the CVC to launch an investigation.
A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
