BJP releases list of 29 candidates for Delhi Assembly elections, including prominent names like Vijender Gupta, Ramesh Bidhuri and Ashish Sood.
The BJP on Saturday (January 4, 2025) released a list of 29 candidates for the Delhi Assembly elections scheduled to be held in February 2025.
The first list includes Vijender Gupta contesting from Rohini constituency, Ashish Sood from Janakpuri, Kailash Gahlot from Bijwasan and Parvesh Sahib Singh Verma from New Delhi.
BJP’s Ramesh Bidhuri will be contesting from Kalkaji constituency against AAP leader and Delhi Chief Minister Atishi. Congress has fielded Alka Lamba from this constituency.
The other prominent candidates are Anil Sharma contesting from R.K. Puram, Satish Upadhayay from Malviya Nagar, Ravinder Singh Negi from Patparganj and Ashok Goel from Model Town.
Dushyant Kumar Gautam has been fielded from the Karol Bagh (SC) constituency. In the Shalimar Bagh constituency, the BJP has fielded Rekha Gupta.
BJP has fielded Sardar Tarvinder Singh Marwah from Jangpura constituency. He is pitted against former Delhi deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia. Congress has fielded former Mayor Farhad Suri from this constituency.
