Maharashtra Cabinet minister Nawab Malik has approached the Bombay High Court with additional documents related to Sameer Wankhede in connection with the defamation suit filed by the latter's father Dhyandev.
Maharashtra Cabinet minister Nawab Malik has approached the Bombay High Court with additional documents related to Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede in connection with the defamation suit filed by the latter's father.
Sameer Wankhede's father, Dhyandev Kachruji Wankhede, had moved the Bombay High Court against Nawab Malik for allegedly defaming his family. Nawab Malik had accused Sameer Wankhede of forging his caste certificate to get a government job.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
