A former counsellor with the Municipal Corporation of Delhi has accused AAP MLA Somnath Bharti of misusing the land in Haus Khaz's Deer Park and declaring it a graveyard.
A grave in Deer Park, located in Delhi's Hauz Khas area, is currently making headlines. The controversy started when a former counsellor of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) from Safdarjang Enclave area Shailendra Singh aka Monti, accused AAP MLA Somnath Bharti of misusing the land and declaring it as a graveyard.
In his accusation, Shailendra said, "Somnath Bharti first placed a board in the graveyard inside the park. Later, his men came and cleaned the park. Then, on September 10, a few people came and buried a body inside the park. Not even a single person was local. Now Somnath Bharti is pressuring the DDA officers to declare the park as a graveyard."
