A decomposed body was found hanging from a tree in Delhi’s Jawaharlal Nehru University on Friday evening. Police has started investigating the matter.
An unidentified body was found hanging from a tree in Delhi’s Jawaharlal Nehru University on Friday evening.
The Delhi police rushed to the spot after receiving a PCR call about the dead body at around 6:30 pm.
The Police team headed by Station House Officer (SHO) Vasant Kunj North is investigating the matter.
The body was found in a highly decomposed state with the age of the dead person put to be around 40-45 years, police said.
Both the crime and forensic teams have been called to the spot for examination.
The body is yet to be identified. An inquest proceeding has been initiated.
