The decomposed bodies of a young live-in couple were found hanging from a ceiling fan of their house in Bengaluru's Devanahalli.
In a shocking incident, the highly decomposed bodies of a young couple were found on the outskirts of Bengaluru in Devanhalli on Monday evening. The matter came to the fore when the neighbours noticed a foul smell emanating from the house and alerted the police.
According to police, the highly decomposed bodies of a couple were found hanging from a ceiling fan of their rental house in Shantinagar. The victims have been identified as Basavaraj (24), a resident of Devanahalli, and Jyothi (26), who was from Manvi taluk.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
