Death toll from Florida condo building collapse climbs to 16

The death toll has reached 16 from last week’s collapse of a Florida condominium building, as four more bodies were pulled from the rubble, officials said Wednesday.
Seven days after the waterfront tower collapsed, there are still 147 people unaccounted for, Miami-Dade Mayor Daniella Levine Cava said at a press briefing. “Please join me in continuing to pray for those who have lost their lives in this unthinkable tragedy, and all of their families who are grieving and all of those who are still waiting and waiting and waiting for news,” Cava said.More Related News
“The right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances,” is guaranteed right at the top of the First Amendment, but the folks in charge of The Washington Post see such action as profoundly sinister if the “wrong” people do it, or perhaps the paper’s problem is with association and communication for the wrong causes.
