
Deadly zebra cobra captured after days on the loose in Raleigh

A deadly cobra that escaped from its owner’s house in North Carolina has been captured, authorities said.
The zebra cobra, which can spit poisonous venom from as far as nine feet away, was cornered and captured in a red bucket by animal control Wednesday night in Raleigh, news station WTVD reported. Police had warned residents about the loose snake after it was spotted Monday on a porch on Sandringham Drive.More Related News
