Instances of dead bodies being dumped inside sacks are on the rise in various parts of Indore.
The latest incident came to light when the Aerodrome police station received information about a foul smell emanating from a sack lying outside a building.
Upon reaching the spot, officials discovered the dead body and stated that the person’s identity was yet to be ascertained. However, officials revealed that he was approximately between 33 and 40 years old.
The dead body was sent to the district hospital for post-mortem.
City Police suspect that the deceased was murdered since his hands and legs were tied. According to officials, “It appears that the victim was killed somewhere else and his body was disposed of at the Aerodrome police station area.”
Further investigations are underway.
