Day after NIA arrest, Mumbai Police suspends associate of Sachin Vaze

Riyazuddin Kazi allegedly helped suspended police officer Sachin Vaze in planting the explosives-laden vehicle outside the residence of Mukesh Ambani.

The Mumbai Police on Monday suspended Assistant Police Inspector Riyazuddin Kazi, a day after the NIA arrested him in connection with the Mukesh Ambani bomb scare case. Kazi allegedly helped suspended police officer Sachin Vaze in planting the explosives-laden vehicle outside the residence of Mukesh Ambani and arranging fake number plates. "Riyazuddin Kazi, Assistant Police Inspector, is being placed under suspension from the services pending the results of investigation against him being conducted by the National Investigative Agency," said an order by Mumbai Police.
