Day after govt’s reply, families in Lucknow blame oxygen shortage for Covid-19 deaths

A day after the Centre said that there was no specific information about Covid-19 deaths due to shortage of oxygen, many said their loved ones had died due to the shortage of medical oxygen. 

A day after the central government told Parliament that the state government had shared no specific information about the Covid-19 deaths that occurred due to shortage of oxygen, several people in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, claimed that the crisis of breathing gas during the second wave of coronavirus pandemic led to the death of their family members. The families said they were still grieving the loss of their loved ones, who had caught Covid-19 and died due to the shortage of medical oxygen.
