Cyclonic circulation over Bay of Bengal to bring heavy rains for South Bengal on Sept 28, 29: IMD

The Indian Meteorological Department mentioned that a cyclonic circulation lies over east-central & adjoining northeast Bay of Bengal off Myanmar coast that will bring heavy rainfall to Bengal on September 28 and 28.

Areas around South Bengal are likely to receive heavy rainfall activity during September 28 and 29, 2021.

A cyclonic circulation lies over east-central & adjoining northeast Bay of Bengal off Myanmar coast, extending upto mid-tropospheric levels. It is likely to move towards West Bengal coast.
