Cyclone Gulab to make landfall on Sunday in coastal regions of southern Odisha, northern AP

A deep depression over the Bay of Bengal will intensify into a cyclonic storm which will make landfall on Sunday evening in the coastal regions of southern Odisha and northern Andhra Pradesh.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) informed on Saturday that a cyclonic storm, named Gulab, is likely to make landfall on Sunday evening in the coastal regions of southern Odisha and northern Andhra Pradesh.

A low-pressure area has intensified into a deep depression over the north and the adjoining central regions of the Bay of Bengal, said IMD scientist Umashankar Das on Saturday.
