Critics Want Trump To Follow Through On His 'Really Good' Kennedy Center Honors Pitch

The president asked whether he should make a "full time job" out of his recent gig at the center.
President Donald Trump on Tuesday hyped up his recent hosting duties at the Kennedy Center Honors before asking whether the gig was worth a job change.
In a post to his Truth Social platform, Trump promoted Tuesday’s CBS broadcast of the “TRUMP KENNEDY CENTER HONORS,” a reference to the board of trustees recently renaming the center to kiss the president’s ring.
CBS also reportedly referred to the center as such despite the taping happening weeks before the board’s vote.
“At the request of the Board, and just about everybody else in America, I am hosting the event. Tell me what you think of my ‘Master of Ceremony’ abilities,” Trump wrote. “If really good, would you like me to leave the Presidency in order to make “hosting” a full time job?”
Prior to the president’s unusual move to host this year’s Kennedy Center Honors, his résumé as an emcee included gigs at “Saturday Night Live,” his time as host of his “Trumped!” radio show and his years presenting “The Apprentice.”
