Covid toolkit case: Congress files complaint against JP Nadda, Smriti Irani, other BJP leaders

BJP has released a "toolkit", claiming it to be made by Congress to tarnish the image of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Centre over the handling of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Congress has filed a complaint against BJP national president JP Nadda, Union Minister Smriti Irani, BJP general secretary B L Santhosh, and spokesperson Sambit Patra over the "toolkit" issue. The Congress leader has accused BJP of indulging in politics of lies, deceit and hypocrisy. The development comes two days after BJP released a "toolkit", claiming it to be made by Congress to tarnish the image of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Centre over the handling of the Covid-19 pandemic. Congress has called the allegation a fake narrative propagated by the BJP.
