Covid patients in storeroom, only relatives to attend, horrific scenes inside Goa hospitals

At the top medical institute of Goa, patients can be seen lying on the floor and along the passage. Some have laid down card boards while others are sleeping on the floor tiles as the Covid ward is packed.

Goa hospitals are now overwhelmed with the huge influx of Covid-19 cases even as a number of patients succumb due to oxygen shortage. Horrific scenes of patients lying on the floor, unattended, and crying for help are seen when one goes inside the Goa Medical College and Hospital. On Thursday, 15 more Covid-19 patients died at the Goa Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), two days after 26 coronavirus patients had succumbed at the same facility in Goa.
