
Court asks MP Police to register case against BJP leader for posting defamatory content against Cong MLA

The court, while directing the police to present the copy of the FIR, observed that the crime was serious in nature and needed to be investigated properly.
A Judicial Magistrate's court in Betul district of Madhya Pradesh has directed the police to register a case against BJP leader Vikas Mishra for allegedly creating a fake Facebook ID and posting defamatory and objectionable material against congress MLA Nilay Daga from it.
The order has been passed by judicial magistrate class 1 Poorvi Tiwari on a petition filed by Daga. Daga in his petition had alleged that the police on his complaint had found that the fake ID posting objectionable material against him was created from Vikas Mishra’s phone but refused to register any case.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
