Standing paddy crop over thousands of acres of land has been damaged by the recent hail storms and rains in various parts of the state where paddy harvesting season is nearing its peak. The worst-hit districts include Gurdaspur, Amritsar, Ferozepur, Rupnagar and Pathankot.
